† 구원은 선물이나 협력이 필요하다.
믿음이 구원을 가져왔습니다. 예수님께서는 당신의 능력으로 불치병을 낫게 하셨지만 ‘내가 너를 낫게 하였다.’고 하지 않으시고 ‘네 믿음이 너를 구원하였다.’고 하셨습니다. 무엇이든 다 이루어 주실 수 있지만 준비된 마음 안에 당신의 역사를 이루십니다. 구원의 완성에는 인간의 협력이 필요합니다.

마태 9,18-22
예수님께서 말씀을 하고 계실 때, 한 회당장이 와서 예수님께 엎드려 절하며, “제 딸이 방금 죽었습니다. 그러나 가셔서 아이에게 손을 얹으시면 살아날 것입니다.” 하고 말하였다. 예수님께서는 일어나시어 제자들과 함께 그를 따라가셨다.
그때에 열두 해 동안 혈루증을 앓는 여자가 예수님 뒤로 다가가, 그분의 옷자락 술에 손을 대었다. 그는 속으로 ‘내가 저분의 옷에 손을 대기만 하여도 구원을 받겠지.’ 하고 생각하였던 것이다. 예수님께서 돌아서시어 그 여자를 보시며 이르셨다.
“딸아, 용기를 내어라. 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였다.”
바로 그때에 그 부인은 구원을 받았다.

“My daughter has just died. But come, lay your hand on her, and she will live.”
Jesus rose and followed him, and so did his disciples.
A woman suffering hemorrhages for twelve years came up behind him and touched the tassel on his cloak. She said to herself,
“If only I can touch his cloak, I shall be cured.”
Jesus turned around and saw her, and said,
“Courage, daughter! Your faith has saved you.”
And from that hour the woman was cured.

Tandis que Jésus leur parlait ainsi, voilà qu’un notable s’approcha. Il se prosternait devant lui en disant :
« Ma fille est morte à l’instant ; mais viens lui imposer la main, et elle vivra. »
Jésus se leva et le suivit, ainsi que ses disciples. Et voici qu’une femme souffrant d’hémorragies depuis douze ans s’approcha par-derrière et toucha la frange de son vêtement. Car elle se disait en elle-même :
« Si je parviens seulement à toucher son vêtement, je serai sauvée. »
Jésus se retourna et, la voyant, lui dit :
« Confiance, ma fille ! Ta foi t’a sauvée. »
Et, à l’heure même, la femme fut sauvée.
